A mohel is a person trained to perform Jewish ritual circumcision, traditionally as part of a bris or brit milah.
For Jewish families, circumcision may be performed as part of a traditional bris. Rabbi Schulgasser can also provide circumcision for families who are not seeking a religious ceremony.
This allows families to choose the type of circumcision experience that fits their beliefs, traditions, and personal preferences.
Have Questions About Scheduling?
For Jewish families, Rabbi Schulgasser can provide circumcision as part of a traditional bris when the baby is healthy and there is no medical reason to delay.
Jewish tradition generally calls for circumcision on the eighth day after birth when the baby is healthy and medically ready. The preferred time for circumcision is during the first month of a baby's life. Babies in the second and third months may also be eligible. For older infants, please contact us to discuss eligibility.
Circumcision does not have to include a religious ceremony. Families from different religious, cultural, and personal backgrounds can schedule newborn or infant circumcision without a traditional bris.
Rabbi Schulgasser provides the same professional attention and clear communication whether a family is planning a traditional bris or a non-religious circumcision.

Very great experience. So much more personal than an in patient office or hospital. Our son hardly cried for long and we were able to hold and comfort him throughout the process. His healing went very well and even the pediatrician commented on how well it looked and healed. It was special to have the family with him during this process. Would highly recommend.

Great experience with Elchanan Schulgasser from the time he was contacted. I reached out to him and he responded very quickly by call or text. We discussed the issue and he evaluated it by a phone consultation and said he would be able to help. So we drove to Altanta and he welcomed us into his home. We had no issues, it was a quick process and he followup with us 24hours later to be sure everything was ok. Thank you some much for your service it was greatly appreciated.

Rabbi Shulgasser gave us excellent service both during and after the circumcision. My son's circumcision was over in like 3 minutes, the procedure was very quick. The outcome was great. It took like 1 week + 4days for the entire wound to heal after applying Vaseline and a gauze as directed by the Rabbi. I will definitely use ABC if I should have more sons.
